Desertion in Colombian Universities

Abstract

Analyzing different researches done in Colombia about the performance of different academic programs in the university, we can find that success in universities depends on some internal and external factors which affects drastically the general performance in its own programs. There fore the causes of desertion can be due to in different problems, such as internal or external troubles in the university, to some internal troubles of the students and to some other causes described here.
