Relación entre el Índice de Precios, la Tasa de Interés, el Tipo de Cambio Real y los Medios de Pago en Colombia, Durante 1970-2004

Abstract

Colombian economy has been affected by different types of changes since the government and its institutions have undergone several legal framework transitions which have led to the setting up of a Central Bank independent from government decisions. This article aims to analyze several monetary variables that allow to provide key elements to discern partial conditions that permit to reach the equilibrium between the different markets which are part of their domestic economy.
