Is school ready for cyberculture? knowledge management in the 21st century
Abstract
This paper describes the three stages humanity has experienced by adopting oral, written and multimedia text types in order to produce, store and convey knowledge. A conversational field that allows to reflect on social and cognitive transformations taking place in schools as a result of new virtual textualities is then established. To conclude, the changes and challenges in the way of knowing and conveying knowledge facing schools due to this evolution are identified.
