Abstract

Confidentiality and data protection developments have led to an improved security framework for IEEE 802.11 wireless local area networks, including a new protocol ierarchy satisfying every privacy communications services. This article analyzes and evaluates ADIUS and DIAMETER standards, regarding their protocol performance and AAA equirements accomplishment in wireless environments.
